You can get it here.

Eric has a great write up here.

This is all Eric, Yitzock (adminjew), and Shawn Oster. I can't thank these guys enough for their work. Tremendous amount of bug fixes and optimizations... just awesome.

Great news, I am anxious to give it a go this weekend.

I am curious, sorry if this was already asked, but any plans for a LINQ to Subsonic type provider?

Thanks.

Great to hear Rob. BTW sorry to post this in here but I am unable to logon to the forums. I seem to have forgotten my password and I get an error when trying to recover.

Thanks

Just checked it out... seem like a memory hogger is this a beta related thing?

Granted I am running it on my laptop which only have 512MB of RAM

@firefly I'd probably need to know a bit more about what you're talking about. Yah, 512M of RAM might not be optimal for ... any situation.

@Rob Wow another late owl :) Thanks for the quick reply!

I just checked again and everything seem fine now. Earlier it was using more than a gig of memory so there was definitely a leak somewhere... I can't get it to reproduce now.

Do you have any plan to support an oledb provider?

Arggh... it does it again now. I can see the memory start climbing and I am not doing anything with it at the moment...

All I have it one new project open with one new provider.

and one connection string. The connection string error out (which is expected). I just thought that might be relevant because that's the only thing I have in SubStage at the moment.

Let me know if you need any additional information.

Since there appears to be no way of getting in touch with you other than leaving a comment, here goes. I'm interested in viewing your Rails webcasts, but your link (http://subsonicproject.com/view/all-about-rails.aspx) gives me an error. Can you please correct it so that others may gain some insight? Thanks!

those are webcasts on subsonic, I'm solely looking for webcasts on Ruby on Rails. It's a shame that the page is linked to from many of Rob's posts, but they all point to a dead link. :(

Any other ideas anyone?

I fixed the screencast - didn't know it was broken. Here's the link: subsonicproject.com/.../all-about-rails

@Rob After looking through the code I found out that the internal web server is the real culprit for the memory leak. To be honest I am not that good to find out the exact reason behind it but after comment out the CreateServer(...) the memory leak for SubStage is gone.

As a non-knower of asp.net I have to ask this:

Does one have to learn ASP.NET to use the upcoming MVC?
